VACATING PREMISES, FINAL ACCOUNTS & DEPOSIT REFUNDS:
If you’re planning to vacate a premises managed by Prestige Metering Services, adhere to the following steps:
Notice of Intention to Vacate:
Send a written notice 14 days before moving indicating your intended vacating date to info@prestige-metering.co.za
Vacating of Premises Form:
We’ll forward this form to you upon receiving your notice.

Make sure to fill out the form completely.
Banking Details Confirmation:
Alongside the completed form, submit your banking details (bank confirmation letter or bank statement) for the potential deposit refund.
Security Deposit Refund:
Upon settling your final invoice, we’ll process the refund.
If the invoice remains unpaid, the owed amount is deducted from your deposit. If there’s a balance, it will be refunded; if there’s a shortfall, you’ll be required to settle it with us.
Please note that a refund charge will be levied to cover our banking charges for the payment
Debt Collection:
If your deposit doesn’t cover the final charges and you don’t settle the account, we will initiate debt collection procedures.
Refund Timeline:
Post-vacating, please allow between 30 to 40 days for the deposit refund to appear in your bank account.
Liability Reminder:
Until you notify us in writing of your vacating date, you’ll be accountable for all consumption charges, irrespective of your physical move-out date.
