1. Governing Laws

1.1 Applicability of South African Laws:
Prestige Metering Services (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter “Prestige Metering Services”) operates under the laws of the Republic of South Africa. All services and agreements with Prestige Metering Services are subject to and governed by the laws and regulations of South Africa, as well as the by-laws of the regulating municipal authority.

2.Jurisdiction

2.1 Exclusive Jurisdiction:
Any disputes, claims, or legal actions arising from or related to services provided by Prestige Metering Services, including but not limited to utility management services, prepaid vending system, and any other related services, are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
2.2 Application of South African Laws:
South African law applies to the resolution of disputes and legal matters, and all parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of South African courts for the purposes of dispute resolution.

3. Dispute Resolution

3.1 Alternative Dispute Resolution:
Prestige Metering Services encourages amicable and fair resolution of disputes through negotiation or alternative dispute resolution methods when feasible.
3.2 Exclusive Jurisdiction Clause:
If disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation or alternative dispute resolution, they shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of South Africa, specifically within the jurisdiction of Pretoria. All parties agree to this exclusive jurisdiction clause and waive any objections to the convenience or propriety of such jurisdiction.

4. Compliance with South African Laws

4.1 Obligation to Comply:
All parties, including Prestige Metering Services and its customers, are obligated to comply with the laws and regulations of South Africa when using the company’s services.
